Me in my Tutu
These two pictures I just had to post. I was going through some hand me down clothes and came apon this tutu. I thought of my sister Maureen immediately. She was such a little princess growing up. LOVED anything frilly and of course was in ballet. I took this picture to send to her.
Notice Connor in the back laughing. We were all singing the "elmo" song...to get Regan to look over.

Dance to the Music
Our St Patricks Day was not as fun as we would have liked. We were very excited to go down to the Irish Pub for some Irish Fun. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, Kevin said that he did not feel well.. He was complaining that his tummy hurt and he felt warm. Since we were already there, we walked down to where the tents and the fun were. We put Kevin in the stoller with Regan and I held Connor. Poor baby really was not feeling well... We stayed for a few minutes and then decided to go home. We stayed just long enough to get Regan dancing to the music on video..Here is is.

Luck of the Irish to ya
Happy St Patricks Day everyone....this year brings us two new wee ones to add to our Irish Brood. We are very excited to celebrate our Irish heritage. Today we are heading down to Slainte Irish Pub for some good ole Irish fun. It is their annual St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser to support childrens cancer where they will have their annual head shaving event. What a good way to celebrate today and support such a worth cause.

These Shoes are made for walking
well, we finally bit the bullet and bought them shoes...Connor especially is really close to walking. We like to keep them barefoot as much as possible, but thought the day would come when we would be outside so we wanted to protect their little piggys.
Connor was not too sure about the shoes. I put them on and tried to get him to stand...He wanted no parts of it. He would bring his knees to his head so he did not put them on the gound.. He keep looking at them and trying to take them off...he eventually succeeded.
These shoes were made for walking...and that's just what I'll do...

We love the Fruit Pit
We took them them to the Wellington Mall...and there they have a gigantic Fruit pit. The big kids love running around and jumping on the fruit...but they also have a crawlers section where the little ones can have fun too... The twins LOVED it....Here are a few pictures

Regan standing
Regan is really trying to be more independant now. I really think she sees her brother move and she wants to too! She is very careful though. She is afraid she will fall...so she holds on for dear life.
For the first time yesterday she started to cruise. Only a little bit...but worth getting excited about. She was standing at the gate and she moved one hand over to the couch and then very slowely, moved the other one. I have been working with her alot. Pulling her down on the ground so she will not be so worried about plopping on her butt. She still cannot get to a standing position by herself...but she loves when she is standing.
Connor is still a crazy boy...he is crawling, creeping, crusing and standing all by himself. He even stands for a few moments without holding on. He will ba walking very soon...Lord help me then!

Hovering in a corner
There really is no significance of this photo. Andrew and Kevin were so proud that they were able to get Connor and Regan over in the corner. They really wanted me to take a picture..so here it is!

Hit me with your best diaper shot
felt the need for some diaper shots today...not quite sure what got into me. I was dressing them for the day, and they just looked so darn cute in their diapers..I just want to eat their legs.
I tried to get them sitting together, but one of them(not going to say who!Lol) would not sit still......

I am in here MOM!
this is a funny story.
I went into the babies room only to find Regan.. I looked around, No Connor. Where could he have gone? The room is completly fenced in. I was the only one home and I know I did not move him.
I have this basket at the other end of the couch that is in this room. If you are looking in this room from the outside you cannot see this basket. It is tucked in the corner. I store the babies toys in there.
I peeked around the couch and here I see connor sitting INSIDE the basket. I am not sure how he got in there. Did he fall in and then maneuver? did he climb in? I guess I will never know. He was so quiet just playing with the toys and a lid for a bottle. You may notice that he is dressed in pink (it is not your eyesight or the computer screen) This is not because we secretly want twin girls..The weather has been chilly and for some reason we have more heavy girl Pj's than boys

Everglades awareness Day
This Saturday Feb 7th was Everglades Awareness day. There was a festival, with all kinds of exhibits and wildlife. The kids really enjoyed themselves. It was just nice to be outside and see all the natural wildlife. We did alot of walking though! Unfortunately we did not see any gators (it was not from a lack of looking) We did see a turtle, some really neat snakes, a possum, and some really neat birds. Here is a picture of a Heron just looking around.
This is the way we Roll.
Since Andrew and Kevin ride their bikes to and from school everyday, I put the twins in this little chariot that is attached to my bike and away we go.. They seem to really enjoy it.. Connor gets a little ansy if we stop for an extended period of time. They just look out their 3 way window and enjoy the scenery. The kids at school(as well as adults) LOVE seeing us "pull up" in the chariot. When it rains or is windy..there is a flap that folds them to protect them.. when it is cold, I add some blankets...talk about the lap of luxury.
Lets go twins...your chariot awaits!
